Hello, I’m Rich
For more that 20 years, I’ve been working with words and pictures, telling stories, and helping people and organisations communicate with impact.
I began my career in the 1990s as a teenage trainee reporter on my local weekly paper in the Midlands, before moving on to bigger city dailies and shifts in Fleet Street.
Next, I switched to PR in the not-for-profit sector, honing my skills in external and internal communications. I was at the sharp end of reputational challenges, complex stakeholder engagement, and colleague comms to support organisation-wide transformation and change.
Then, a move to corporate communications in London, working in UK and global markets to help FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies engage audiences and achieve their business goals.
Today, I’m an independent consultant supporting organisations big and small to communicate, build reputation, and strengthen relationships with their stakeholders. You can find out more about my services.
Past and present corporate clients include M&S, Britvic, Deliveroo, Sage Group, NBCUniversal, Funding Circle, Urban&Civic, Argenta and Vectura. I also work with charities, including Victim Support, as well as providing flexible freelance services to communications agencies.
Away from work, I’m a board trustee at PSS, an amazing national social enterprise based in Liverpool. And I divide my time between London and the Sussex coast.
